DAN PARISI SR. ENTERS THE HALL OF FAME (CLICK HERE TO SEE THE PICTURES)

On April 18, 2009 Dan Parisi Sr. was inducted to the West Orange P.A.L. Hall of Fame.  This was probably one of the most over due awards there is however there is a reason for it, after 40 years of service Mr. Parisi (as he is known by all the active members of the P.A.L.) is still donating his time at the P.A.L.  On any given Friday night or Saturday morning you can still find Mr. Parisi delivering hot dogs to every kid who comes along and I don't think he missed a Football game last year.

After some kind words from the current P.A.L. director Joe DePasquale, Mr. Albanese (P.A.L. Director for 36 years) spoke.   Mr. Albanese said it plain and simple, "Dan Parisi and I have worked side by side for 40 years at the P.A.L., there is no one else he would have wanted by his side the whole way, he was great to work with and even more important he is a great friend."

It is obvious the love and respect that all of the people of the P.A.L. have for Mr. Parisi.  Standing by his side today and for the past forty years was his wife, kids and grand kids.  He even got to throw out the first pitch to his grandson Robert who catches for the West Orange Elks.
